(Slightly) Disappointing June Products

It’s always sad when I don’t like a product because I want to love every beauty product I purchase! However, I want to show my beauties products that didn’t work for me BUT if they work for you, that is awesome!

Luckily this month I really didn’t have any super disappointing products. The three pictured here were only…slightly disappointing!

The first one is the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector. Now you all know that I love this brand but this one just didn’t work for me. It didn’t hold my style very well like their other products do. Lucky for me I got this as a sample at Sephora so no money spent!

Next is the Tony Moly Runaway Strawberry Seeds 3-Step Nose Pack (longest name EVER!) I really wanted to love this product but it didn’t do much for my skin. My pores get really clogged on my nose and I thought these little masks would help but it really didn’t do anything. So sad 😦

Finally is the ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Zipper. Ok I adore the color of this lipstick. But for some reason this shade got crumbly and patchy on my lips. I have two other lipsticks from this line and they are flawless (aka they don’t do what the Zipper one does). Maybe I just got a bad egg but I am disappointed in the formula. Hopefully I can get this color from another brand!

What products were slightly (or maybe more) disappointing for you this month? You do you boo boo and comment below!

Thanks for reading, my loves 🙂 til next time

Thanks for the info! I also recently bought a 3 step Nose Pack from the face shop, however I have not used it yet. Got to see if it works.

I bought KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bachelorette because I have it in Nosferatu. I got Bow N Arrow and fell in love, but I felt like a clown in Bachelorette and returned it. I was so disappointed because I wanted to do something different and wear a bright color.

    1. Interesting! It’s weird how some lipsticks are great in one color but another one is horrible…with the same formula!

  3. Tony Moly stuff always has such cute packaging. It’s hard to find masks that seem to have great results. I recently tried the Boscia Tsubaki Oil Deep Hydration Hydrogel Mask from Sephora and I was pleasantly surprised how nice my skin felt after.
