Makeup Brush Guide: Highlighter

The weekend is almost here and we’reat part 4 of the makeup brush guide mini series! Let’s dive in 😊

Highlighters are such a huge trend right now. I know I’m obsessed with them for sure! For a brush, I like the Ecotools Fan Brush the best.

This brush has the softest bristles and only needs a couple swipes of highlight to brighten up the face. It’s easy to use and makes life so easy.

For a highlighting brush, you can do fan brushes or even large blending fluff brushes. Fan brushes work well to get perfect lines while fluff brushes can be easier to manipulate. With fluff brushes, you can swirl the highlight on the cheeks for high shine.

Bottom line is: get a brush that can apply and blend the highlight at the same time. You want something that will get both jobs done at once while picking up the most product possible in just a few swipes.

If you’re looking for some cheap contour brushes, go check these ones out:

  • IT Cosmetics Love Beauty Fully Highlight and Blending brush – $26 at Ulta
  • Morphe E48 Mini Tapered Highlight brush – $14.99 at Morphe
  • Sigma F03 High Cheekbone Highlighter – $20 at Sigma Beauty

Thanks for reading, my loves 🙂 til next time
