Continuing on with the makeup brush guide, we are finally at eye brushes!
A flat eyeshadow brush can be used for so much. You can use it for packing on pigment, concealer, applying glitter…seriously it works for so many things!
I do like using the rounded edge for blending out shadows on my lower lashline. It really goes in well without poking my eyes out. My favorite flat brush is from Sephora (it was in a gift set that my best friend gave me last Christmas). The bristles are synthetic but they work very well.
It’s very easy to find a flat eyeshadow brush. The only guideline you really need to follow is that it’s flat on both sides. Simple enough, right?
You definitely want a flat brush that isn’t thin. The more bristles, the better! That way you can pack on more product without having to dip into product too much.
Bottom line is: find a brush that’s flat on both sides that has a rounded edge. You can use the edge for blending out colors and the flat sides pack on product beautifully.
